The streets of Legendary Cumberland will be a hive of excitement and activity this Saturday with over 150 art, craft and specialty vendors, incredible merchant specials, community groups, live music, a box car derby, plant sales and much much more! The annual Village Market Day celebration is set to fill the streets this Saturday May 19th from 10 am till 4 pm in the heart of Cumberland!
Thousands of residents and visitors converge for a day of community fun, delicious dining and drinking, dancing, exploring, shopping and enjoying the very best of Village life! Whether you’re looking for tasty treats, toys, crafts, artisan ice cream, books, bikes, chocolates, coffee, plants, art, jewelry or clothing – a diverse community of local merchants and visiting vendors will be ready to meet your every desire! Live music will fill the air with 2 stages running throughout the day featuring performances from Cozy, Amy Muloin, Alan Jossul, Arcana Dea Dance, Black Swan Fiddlers, Henri Faberge, Emily Cars, Elise LeBlanc and more!
Be sure to stop by the Cumberland Community Forest Society Annual Spring Plant Sale at the corner of 3rd and Dunsmuir (next to the Wandering Moose) and grab some amazing deals on trees, shrubs, berries, herbs, flowers, and veggie starts. Or pick up your tickets to the 4th Annual Cumberland Home and Garden Tour. Head up the street and be sure to grab your tickets for the Annual Thunderballs (last weekend to get them!) and support the Cumberland Community Schools Society.
