Be Safe and Keep the Bears Wild with WildSafe BC

Next weekend (Sept 13, 14, 15) WildSafe BC comes to Cumberland to promote harmony between bears and humans. Learn about their program at Community Discovery Day, then be trained on how to safely carry and deploy bear spray (free, but preregistration required). Sunday, visit their booth at the Farmers’ Market and join the scavenger hunt!

This is timely as the bears are out in full force this month, fattening up for winter. Let’s keep our people safe and the bears wild!
