The Cumberland Community Forest Society (CCFS) is hosting a Plant Sale and Earth Day Celebration on Saturday April 23rd from 10 am till 2 pm at 3rd and Dunsmuir (next to the Wandering Moose) and in Village Square. This special day will include some hands on fun, community displays and a plant sale to help launch your yard and garden into the season!
100% of proceeds from this sale support the CCFS’s current efforts to complete the purchase of a 40 hectare parcel of forest just south of the Village fondly known as Space Nugget. This is the final fundraising push to make this historic forest protection initiative a reality! Enjoy a Saturday in the Village and explore the shops, cafes, parks and trails of Legendary Cumberland while you’re at it.
DONATIONS of perennials, trees, shrubs, berries, annuals, veggie starts, gardening books and lightly used tools are very welcome! Plants can be dropped of ANYTIME at:
