Cumberland’s new fire hall is up and running. The new fire hall was long overdue as the old one was not seismically safe and could not accommodate the new fire trucks. The new building solves all that and more, and building will also be Cumberland’s main Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in the event of a major emergency. Since no public celebration could take place due to the ongoing pandemic, the Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department celebrated with a secret morning parade.
