Cumberland’s Water Spray Park is Open!

The water will be turned on at the children’s water spray park at Cumberland’s Village Park on today, May 15th, 2015 in time for the Victoria Day long weekend and Cumberland’s Empire Days celebrations.

Village Park washrooms are open from 9 am to 6 pm.

TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT – CRI, register through Cumberland Cumberland Parks and Recreation

HIGHLAND DANCE COMPETITION – 10am – 4pm at the Village Park

WESTIES DOG PARADE – 12:30pm at the VIllage Park

BEER GARDEN – 12 – 6pm at the Village Park

WASHOE TOURNAMENT – 12:30pm at the Village Park, $10/person

GOLF HOLE IN ONE – 1:30pm at the Village Park $10/person

CV KICKERS RUGBY GAME – 4:30pm in the Village Park

LEGENDS OF THE MAYPOLE – 1 to 2pm at the Village Park. Come and watch or participate as adults who danced the Maypole dance as kids in Cumberland now try their luck at not tangling the ribbons decades later!

OLD TIMERS SOCCER GAME – 2pm in the Village Park. This is a fun game to watch as the Old Timers of Cumberland play a great game against the Village’s younger men. Spectators welcome!

SOCCER AWARDS DINNER – 6 – 9pm at the Cultural Centre

PARADE – 10 to 10:30AM. From the top of Dunsmuir to the Village Park the sidewalks are lined with spectators for this great tradition of floats and fun!

MAY QUEEN CROWNING – 10:30 to 11am at the Village Park

MAY POLE DANCE – 11 to 11:30am at the Village Park. Cumberland children dance around the traditional May Pole.

10KM LAKE RUN 12pm. Race starts from the Village Park.

CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINMENT – 12 to 1pm at the Village Park

CHILDREN’S RACES – 1 to 2pm at the Village Park.
