William "Bronco" Moncrief, June 18, 1927 – September 15, 2022

Coal miner, logger, self-taught engineer, and Cumberland mayor for over 30 years (1969 to 1993, and from 1997 to 2002),  William “Bronco” Moncrief passed away on September 15th, 2022. A passionate advocate for Cumberland, he will always be remembered as a man who helped shape our Village to be what it is today.
