Black Bear Crossing on Dunsmuir

The Waverley Hotel is known for great live music, awesome food and black bears!?!

Last night as I was wandering (not stumbling) out of The Waverley Hotel at about 11:30pm, a lovely healthy looking black bear was leisurely crossing the street at the crosswalk heading to the Cumberland Museum and Archives.

This morning a black bear was spotted walking down Mill Street at 8:30am.

Please get Bear Aware Cumberlanders. Our neighbours from the woods are out and about.
