Here comes the UNDER-AGER RAGER! Support the Cumberland Community Schools Society AND have a great time at their Kids' Disco this Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Featuring darkness, disco lights, fog, and the family friendly funk of Music by Jozy! Enjoy a nice mocktail or two and have dinner or snacks from the cash canteen. For kids 3yrs to 12yrs, kids 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

In support of the CCSS Spring Food Security Campaign

The Cumberland Community Schools Society is a charity that operates within SD71 but is separate from the school district and the PAC. The CCSS is a donation funded society that offers healthy breakfast, lunches, and snacks to children in the school, free after school and community programs, operates the youth centre, and runs the Cumberland Food Share, (Cumberland's food bank), delivering biweekly boxes of healthy food to families and individuals facing food insecurity in our community. Go out and support this worthy cause!

The Cumberland Museum and Archives hosted a lovely

The Cumberland Museum and Archives hosted a lovely Members' Night last night to show off the fabulous renovations. If you haven't had a museum visit recently there are some new exhibits and interesting things you'll want to see. Incidentally, did you know the Waverley Hotel's nick name of yore was the "Hug 'n' Slug"? Oh, the things you'll learn at our local history depository! Thanks, ED Rosslyn Shipp and the Board of Directors.

The Cumberland Community Schools Society is holdin

The Cumberland Community Schools Society is holding a fundraiser Cut-a-Thon this Sunday (June 5th) from 10am to 4pm at Alley Cuts. Drop-in and get a haircut from Chelsea, Sara, or Ben the (50ft) Barber by donation (suggested minimum $15). Do good and feel fresh!

All the proceeds from this event go towards the CCSS' Spring Food Security Campaign.

The 134th time is a charm! Cumberland wraps up it's week(ish) long Victoria Day Celebration with a Parade and the crowning of the May Queen! Thanks so much to the Cumberland Events Society who produce this event and all the people who contributed. A job well done!
