This dirt bike was found leaning up against the fence at the dog park this morning.
After posting a photo of it on our facebook page, www.facebook.com/currentlycumberland, it was happily reunited with it’s owners later that day. The powers of community prevail! Over 3450 people viewed the post within the first three hours.
Here’s the RCMP Comox Valley report published on the incident:
Police were called to a report of an abandoned motorcycle near the dog park in Cumberland on March 29th at 10:02 A.M. The motorcycle was not reported stolen but was taken to the RCMP detachment due to the circumstances. Later in the day a report of a theft of a motorcycle was called in by a Cumberland resident. Both were reunited after being identified. (2015-3841)
