Graffiti and Vandalism on the Rise

Graffiti has recently been on the rise in Cumberland.  Have you noticed all the new lame and unimaginative tagging on local sheds, doors, fences and gates lately?

Make sure you take a photo, note the location and then email the Village at bylaw@cumberland.ca

Graffiti is a criminal offence under the Canadian Criminal Code and is also subject to a $200 ticket under the Village’s Nuisance Bylaw. Residents are asked to quickly remove any tagging on private property as it discourages repeat offences. Public Works and the Village will take care of public property.
