“I was in the bakery and must have dropped my wallet between there and the Wandering Moose. Within moments, I ran back to the bakery where I was told by a patron that a man had just come in looking for the owner. Once I stepped outside with her, a woman ACROSS the street must have seen us and my panic and waved me down to let me know that the same gentleman had just dropped it off at the post office. It’s back in my hands now, with the help of those 2 ladies and a very kind gentleman who found it and gave it to the crew at the Post Office. I just want to say I love Cumberland and the community spirit here. Proud to be a resident and recipient of such kindness and concern.”
