Cumberland WinterFaire Saturday, November 25th

Cumberland WinterFaire Saturday, November 25th

Cumberland WinterFaire continues to grow, this year featuring the exceptional talents of over 70 crafters and artists under three roofs; the Cumberland Recreation Hall, Cumberland Museum and Archives, and new this year, the Cumberland Masonic Hall. Discover a variety of homemade, handmade, and fair trade goods at the Faire – original fashions, hand dyed and printed scarves, original paintings and prints, art cards, handmade local jewelry, toys and clothing for wee ones, functional pottery, wood products, delicious baked goods, natural wool pillows, unique seasonal wreaths, antique teacup gardens, herbal wellness products… and a partridge in a pair tree.

Make a day of it and share in the festive atmosphere! Enjoy the Black Swan Fiddlers, Teresa Tomek, Blue Calico, talented youth singer-songwriter Jessica Snider, and other local musicians from the two WinterFaire stages. Stop by the canteen for a tasty homemade lunch, and the Masonic Hall’s hot drink bar to warm up with a hot apple cider, hot chocolate, or chai. Take a stroll down historic Dunsmuir Avenue to check out the eclectic Village shops.

A donation at any door gets you access to all three locations and the chance to win a basket of fabulous handmade products from WinterFaire vendors and items from the museum’s gift shop. As a fundraiser for the museum, this event provides a unique opportunity to buy local this holiday season while supporting a local heritage organization.

WinterFaire takes place on Saturday, November 25 from 10am to 4pm. Hands-on seasonal craft making for children is offered at the museum between 10am to 1pm.Visit all three locations for the full WinterFaire experience!
