To celebrate Cooperative Week, First Credit Union will be hosting a screening of A New Economy on Thursday, October 18 at the Cumberland Masonic Hall. Doors open at 6:30 pm, film screening starts at7:00 pm.
A New Economy is a feature documentary that explores what would happen if working together for the good of all was the most common business model. We’ll learn about several organizations who strive towards building a more cooperative future. By putting humanity before the bottom line, they are finding their place in an economy no longer dominated by profits and big business.

Admission is by donation (suggested donation $5). All proceeds will go to the Cumberland Community Forest Society.
