To celebrate the holiday season, the Cumberland Community Schools Society (CCSS) invites community members of all ages to Santa’s Breakfast on Sunday, December 3, 2017. This popular event includes a pancake breakfast, arts & crafts, wreath making, a silent auction and a visit with Jolly Old Saint Nick.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Santa’s Breakfast, a fundraiser for the Cumberland Community Schools Society (CCSS). Proceeds from this event support CCSS’s registered charity efforts that provide free after-school programming, a healthy lunch program and a drop-in youth centre at Cumberland Community School. “Over the past 3 years we have expanded our services and witnessed a significant increase in demand for our programs,” explains Sue Loveless, Executive Director. “The success of this event will help to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of our growing community”.
CCSS would like to thank their generous sponsors Cumberland Dental Centre and Sitka Silviculture, along with the many other local businesses who are supporting the event.
Santa’s Breakfast takes place Sunday December 3rd, 8:30- 11:30 AM at the Cumberland Recreation Centre, 2665 Dunsmuir Avenue. Entry is by donation.
